Gün doğumundan batımına, eş zamanlı yer ve drone çekimi. Yüksek gerilim hatları, bina kirleri, araçlar ve insanlar; hepsini silerek ortaya konutun gerçek ruhunu çıkardık. İki kişiyle.

Tek Gün, Tek Şans

Bazı projeler sizi acımasız bir basitliğe zorlar: bir gün, iki kişi, gün doğumundan batımına kadar her şey. Avrupa Konutları Saklıvadi tam böyle bir projeydi. Takvimde fazladan gün yoktu, ışık için ikinci bir şans da yoktu. Sabahın ilk ışığıyla başlamak, gece ışıklarını da görmek, arada güneşin konuya ne yaptığını kaydetmek; hepsini aynı güne sığdırmak gerekiyordu.

Bu tür projelerde planlama her şeydir. Çekim sabahından günler önce lokasyonu gezip güneşin saatlere göre konumu hesaplanır, drone uçuş güzergâhları belirlenir, yer çekiminin hangi saatte nerede durması gerektiği not alınır. Saklıvadi'de bu plan kâğıt üzerinde netti. Sahada ise birkaç sürpriz bekliyordu bizi.

Havada İzin Var, Ama Trafik de Var

Saklıvadi'nin konumu drone açısından zorlu bir bölge. Çevredeki yoğun kentsel doku, ana arterler ve trafiğin yarattığı hava kirliliği, izin almak kadar uçuşu da güçleştiriyor. Gerekli TSHGM izinleri alınmıştı; ama gerçekte o bölgede drone'u havaya kaldırmak ve istenen kompozisyonları bulmak bambaşka bir işti.

Trafik sürekli hareket ediyordu. Kavşaklardaki araçlar, çevredeki yollar, rezidansın açık alanına giren insanlar. Drone ekranında her kare farklı bir dağınıklık gösteriyordu. Stratejimiz sabahın erken saatlerine odaklanmaktı: trafik henüz uyumaktayken, ışık da en temiz halindeyken. Birkaç kısa pencerede istediğimiz hava görüntülerini aldık. Öğleden sonra rüzgar da işin içine girince drone'u indirip yer çekimine konsantre olduk.

Eş Zamanlı Çalışmanın Ritmi

İki kişilik bir ekiple hem drone hem de yer çekimini eş zamanlı yürütmek, dikkatli bir iş bölümü gerektiriyor. Drone operatörü hava görüntüleriyle ilgilenirken diğeri yerde kompozisyon kuruyordu; ama aslında her iki açı da birbirini etkiliyordu. Drone'un baktığı yöne göre yerdeki pozisyon değişiyor, yerdeki çerçeve drone güzergâhına yön veriyordu.

Bu senkron çalışma hem verimliydi hem de yorucu. Gün doğumuyla başlayıp mavi saate kadar kesintisiz çalışmak, saatlik ışık değişimlerini takip etmek, iki ekipmana aynı anda hakim olmak. Bir günün sonunda yorgunluk farklı bir anlam kazanıyor. Ama ekranın içindeki görüntülere bakınca her şey anında yerine oturuyor.

Silmek de Bir Sanat

Saklıvadi çekiminin post-prodüksiyonu, çekimin kendisi kadar yoğundu. Yapının cephelerinde biriken kirler, balkonlardaki küçük lekeler, çatıdaki teknik ekipmanlar. Bunların hiçbiri markanın göstermek istediği yerde değildi. Hepsini tek tek temizledik. Ama asıl iş başka bir yerdeydi.

Lokasyonun çevresindeki yüksek gerilim hatları görüntüleri adeta parçalıyordu. Bunları silmek teknik açıdan ince bir işçilik istiyor: arka planı bozmadan, gökyüzünü deforme etmeden, geçişlerin doğallığını koruyarak. Birkaç kareler üzerinde saatler harcandı. Benzer biçimde, caddelerdeki araçlar ve açık alanlardaki insanlar da çerçeveden çıkarıldı; ama bunu yaparken kaldırımların, zemin dokusunun ve peyzajın sürekliliği korundu.

Son adım ise bir estetik katmanı eklemekti. Saklıvadi'nin en güçlü özelliği, şehrin tam ortasında kurulu yeşil ve sakin bir yaşam alanı olması. Bunu görsel dile taşımak için renk paleti sıcaklaştırıldı, ışıklar yumuşatıldı, mavi saatin pembeye çalan tonları ön plana çıkarıldı. Hedef netti: o konutlarda yaşamanın nasıl bir his olduğunu sezdirecek görseller.

2 Kişi, Bir Tam Gün

Bu projeyi konuştuğumuzda çoğu kişi şaşırıyor: sadece iki kişiyle mi? Evet. Büyük ekipler koordinasyon enerjisi ister, karar süreçleri yavaşlar, sahada gürültü artar. İki kişiyle çalışmak ise tam tersi bir dinamik yaratıyor: hızlı kararlar, minimal kurulum, lokasyona çabuk adapte olma. Birbirimizin ne yapacağını bilmek, kelimeye gerek bırakmıyor.

Saklıvadi çekimi bize şunu da kanıtladı: doğru planlama ve doğru iki kişiyle, on kişilik bir ekibin yapabileceği işi yapabilirsiniz. Belki daha sessizce, belki daha odaklı şekilde. Gün sonunda elimizde olan görseller bunu açıkça ortaya koyuyordu.

Sonuç

Avrupa Konutları Saklıvadi, mimari fotoğrafın iki temel gerçeğini bir arada yaşattı: ışığı yakalamak için zaman yönetimi her şeydir, post-prodüksiyon ise fotoğrafın bittiği değil tamamlandığı yerdir. Bir gün içinde gün doğumundan mavi saate uzanan o yolculuk, hem havadan hem de yerden çektiğimiz kare kare belgelendi. Sonunda ortaya çıkan şey, Saklıvadi'deki yaşamın tam da hak ettiği görsel anlatım oldu.

Sunrise to sunset, simultaneous ground and drone capture. High-voltage lines, building grime, vehicles and people; all erased to reveal the true character of the development. Just two of us.

One Day, One Shot

Some projects force you into a brutal simplicity: one day, two people, sunrise to sunset. Avrupa Konutları Saklıvadi was exactly that. There was no spare day on the calendar, no second chance for the light. Catch the first light of morning, stay through the night illuminations, record what the sun does to the subject in between; all compressed into a single day.

On projects like this, planning is everything. Days before the shoot, the location is scouted; the sun's position by hour is calculated; drone flight paths are mapped; where to stand on the ground at any given time of day is written down. For Saklıvadi, the plan was clear on paper. In the field, a few surprises were waiting.

Permit in Hand, Traffic Overhead

Saklıvadi's location presents a real challenge for drone work. The dense urban fabric around it, the main arterials and the atmospheric haze from heavy traffic make flying (not just permitting) genuinely difficult. The necessary TSHGM authorisations had been obtained, but actually putting the drone in the air and finding the right compositions was another matter entirely.

Traffic never stopped. Vehicles at intersections, people moving through the open areas of the development. Every frame on the drone monitor showed something different in motion. Our strategy centred on the early morning window: before traffic woke up, while the light was at its cleanest. We captured the aerial views we needed in a handful of brief windows. Once the afternoon wind picked up, the drone came down and we concentrated entirely on ground-level work.

The Rhythm of Working in Parallel

Running drone and ground capture simultaneously with a two-person crew demands careful division of labour. While one person managed the aerial work, the other was building compositions at street level; but in practice, both perspectives were constantly shaping each other. The drone's heading influenced where to stand on the ground; the ground frame informed the next flight path.

This synchronised approach was both efficient and exhausting. Working without interruption from sunrise to blue hour, tracking the light as it shifted hour by hour, keeping two sets of equipment under control. By the end of the day, tiredness takes on a different meaning. But looking at the frames on the screen, everything falls into place immediately.

Erasing Is Also a Craft

The post-production on Saklıvadi was as intensive as the shoot itself. Grime accumulated on the building facades, small marks on balconies, technical equipment on the rooftops. None of it belonged in the picture the brand wanted to show. We cleaned it all, frame by frame. But the real challenge lay elsewhere.

The high-voltage power lines surrounding the development cut through the imagery with a heavy hand. Removing them demands precise craftsmanship: preserving the background without distortion, keeping the sky intact, maintaining natural transitions. Several frames took hours. Similarly, vehicles on the streets and people in the open spaces were removed, while preserving the continuity of pavements, ground texture and landscaping throughout.

The final step was adding an aesthetic layer. Saklıvadi's strongest quality is the green, calm environment it offers in the middle of a dense city. To translate that into visual language, the colour palette was warmed, the lighting softened, and the pink-tinged tones of blue hour were brought forward. The goal was clear: images that give a sense of what it actually feels like to live there.

Two People, One Full Day

When we talk about this project people are often surprised: just two of you? Yes. Large crews consume coordination energy, decisions slow down, noise on set increases. Working as two creates the opposite dynamic: fast decisions, minimal setup, rapid adaptation to whatever the location throws at you. Knowing what the other person will do next means you rarely need words.

Saklıvadi also confirmed something we already believed: with the right planning and the right two people, you can produce what a crew of ten would deliver. Perhaps more quietly. Perhaps with sharper focus. The images at the end of the day made that plain.

In Closing

Avrupa Konutları Saklıvadi brought two fundamental truths of architectural photography together in a single assignment: time management is everything when chasing light, and post-production is not where the photograph ends; it is where it is completed. The journey from first light to blue hour, documented frame by frame from both the ground and the air, produced an image set that does justice to what Saklıvadi actually is.
